Although, since we were at the conference most of the time in KL, I didn't get to have any hawker food. :( I did have some some excellent local lamb curry though in Kota Kinabalu. (No idea what actual name of dish was.) In China so far, I've definitely gotten to have some good street food in the hutongs. I've tried Jiá jī dàn and chuan and those steamed pork buns. Definitely interested in recommendations if you have them! My quads are still sore. :-)
