A few random street shots…

while walking through the Barri Gotti (Gothic Quarter), we came upon this wedding reception.

these for-rent red bicycles were everywhere

the building fronts were so, well, european (for lack of a better word)
a clothes rack in the apartments across from us

On the plane to Spain, I read that there are sometimes nighttime concerts at La Pedrera, one of my favorite places from my previous Barcelona trip.
After asking around, we got tickets for “Noches de verano en La Pedrera.” The musician that night was Marc Ayza - he & his band were fabulous.
All & all, it was just a wonderful experience: great music & good cava in the surreal surroundings of Gaudi’s La Pedrera rooftop.

While I was in Florida. I was able to see some of the local sites in Orlando & Miami.
Here are a few of the photos.

my first time at Disney World. i have to say, I like Disneyland better.

Fortunately, photoshop can help me fake it. Here’s a digital sketch, from a digital photograph:
Seattle, on one of its rare clear May sunsets.
(Also check out this panoramic, taken at the same time.)
Catching the market in the late evening, after another day of seattle sprinkle.

For my photo class, I’m supposed to be shooting 100 photos a week in addition to my assignments. Here are some of my favorites so far…

My photography class’s second assignment was:
Use the white balance of your camera, photograph all the colors of the rainbow. Select a scene, object, etc for each color which adheres to your "inner association" of that color.
Here are the photos… I’m happier with some of them more than others. :)
