You’re a true artist, you even manage to make the Seattle drizzle look beautiful.
Karen, from the top to bottom pictures, the sky seems to be very blue, as the matter of fact, “Blue” seems to dominate those two pictures. Are you using any filter to cause that?
You’re getting real good, but I love the pic where the old man and the baby were walking on the tracks!
🙂 The sky was actually that color. The middle shot (with the umbrellas) was taken first, while the sky was still pretty gray. But then it cleared up, and we saw (first) blue of the day.
To be fair though, in the top and middle shot, I color corrected the bottom half of the photos. The lights inside the market cast a very yellow color (as seen in the second from the top shot). So, I took the cast of the light from a yellow to more of a pure white.
That’s interesting how the sky cleared in 10 minutes (between 8:10 to 8:20) 🙂
I don’t know which I like more, your technical stuff or your photos… Keep em coming!
🙂 Well, there’s also a lot going on there with exposure and what not too. (I swear, I didn’t doctor the sky!)
Anyways, glad you enjoyed…
The pictures really capture the feeling of evening drawing in. The photo of the cobblestones is a great study of light.
